Come on out for our Court of Honor on 10/25 -- see what your Scouts have accomplished since the Spring! Scouts wear their Class A uniforms and you parents stay for the whole meeting to commend the Scouts on their activities and results.  You'll also hear a little bit about our summer camp activities and the Philmont Trek -- don't miss out! If you are a new scout and have not yet had an "Investiture Ceremony" then make sure that the leaders know and we'll have one at this Court.

Due to potential rain storms coming through the Watchung area, the in-person court of honor has been moved to 5/10. Although our scouts would be prepared to handle to the rain, we don't want the rain to discourage parents from coming to see their scouts receive the awards they have worked towards for the past 6 months. "Derek Porter of BSA Troop 104 in Scotch Plains, has been elected as the National Chief, the top elected youth position, in the Order of the Arrow of the Boy Scouts of America. He beat out 42 others who ran for election on Dec. 27 and becomes the first youth National Officer from New Jersey's Patriots’ Path Council."

We are continuing to introduce small in-person patrol-sized events.  Here are two of interest to Scouts who have joined over the last 14 months:

• Monday 4/12: In-person "investiture ceremony" for Members of the Ice Dragons (2020 joiners) who never had an in-person investiture.
• Monday 4/19: In-person "investiture ceremony" for New Scout patrol members (2021 joiners)

On both evenings, the Scouts will arrive at All-Saints between 7:00 and 7:15 for a small social gathering -- just for their patrol.  Around 7:30 we will simulcast the Investiture Ceremony over Zoom to the rest of the Troop.  Afterwards, the scouts will return home and participate in the rest of the Troop Meeting via Zoom. Masks and moderate distancing protocols will be followed.
